Shakespeare influenced modern literature by giving authors\readers a way to think about life situations. He used quotes that people and the world can relate to. He used really realistic ideas and used hard word play for people to have a way to interpret his readings without jumping straight to the point. As you read in today's society people also use these ideas as they write just to keep Shakespeare apart of our history or to have a connection on what he was discussing in is readings.
A quote Shakespeare used was ''you say that you love the rain , but you open your umbrella when it rains. You say that you love the sun, but you find a shadow spot when the sun shines. You say that you love the wind, but you close your window when the wind blows. This is why i'm afraid you say that you love me.'' -William Shakespeare. This quote influenced people in modern literature because it gives them a way to think about how to make people think. What this quote means is that you say that you love something but you don't show the love or appreciation causing people to wonder why.
In conclusion, William Shakespeare left many ideas for our people and the world can relate to. He teaches lessons in his readings and gives people a way to think on maybe how they can write their stories poems. He teaches us to give people a way to think not so much getting straight to the point because if not, then people would just find a easy way to write.

  2. In Shakespeare's work, he has influenced some of the most crucial substances about life. Music is a vital part of life. Music has a life of its own. Through Shakespeare's work he has influenced multiple musicians like Samuel Barber who was an American composer during the twentieth century. Most of Samuel's music was based on European Romantic styles like in Shakespeare's plays. One of Samuel's operas that were influenced by Shakespeare was ''Anthony and Cleopatra'' by Franco Zeffirelli.Shakespeare's work still leaves with multiple dimensions.

Most of the time music was created to show expression or emotion. Resulting from Shakespeare's work, music has a story line. Music displays messages to its audiences with multiple meanings. Music is acceptable to all things or ideas we as a society values. Without Shakespeare's contribution to his work, would we value music as much as we do today?!?

What had influence Shakespeare on society and language is illumination of human experience, him making great stories and him having the ability to turn word into a phrase. They way Shakespeare influence society and language is the way he dose all the work he puts in and the way he uses characteristics. The sound or the way you can hear the way his words are being used in a literature way.
Shakespeare influence modern literature is by value of work. He's work influence and inspirational to some people. Shakespeare work is still relevant today because you go back and make a connection to it and how uses literal devices (diction, persuasive etc). When you go to college you might probably to theater you you would do one his work using how creative he was and put as much work he put in we would use today.

William Shakespeare has such an impact on modern literature. One thing he impacted was the language used in much of his art. Over 29,000 words were used in Shakespeare’s work. About 10,000 of those unique words are still being used today. He has even enhanced the English language. Many of his phrases are still used today as well. Phrases such as hot: blood, which means angry, and naked truth which means the full and complete truth.
His work with literature has also influenced literature artists. Shakespeare’s techniques for literature are still used today. Iambic pentameter is one of the forms he wrote in and one of the ways other literature artists use. This technique allow the reader to catch the emphasized words for a clearer understanding.

William Shakespeare has had a great impact on modern literature. Many call him a "man of words" due to the fact that Shakespeare introduced nearly 3,000 words into the English Language. Many of these words became common words and in fact, even set standards for English literature causing ones writing to be more expressive. Shakespeare also influenced literature by writing on a variety of subjects and touching on human facts and relations. He used metaphors, new phrases, and new words to make his sentence structures richer and more interesting to read.
Shakespeare wrote in many forms including iambic pentameter which was also another way that he contributed to literature. Shakespeare helped make literature more complex, more expressive, and more free. In doing so, he allowed imagery to be more vivid and used many different literary devices. After his era, people began to write different than they ever had and some like John Keats idolized him and based his works and duplicating Shakespeare's style.

To start, we study Shakespeare today because he is very unique in his own own way, and his works of poetry, plays, etc. reveals something special about him. Not only that, but we study Shakespeare because some of his works today are not found/discovered. But, most of his works are put into volumes, but are not
to be sold. "Only eighteen of Shakespeare's plays were published separately in quarto editions during his lifetime....", (www.poets.org). To add, Shakespeare is pretty much a creative poet, but his works teaches us a lesson as we continue to value his work.

Moreover, we study Shakespeare because he is a big part of society, and life as well. His works influence us to become better people, but for us to think about life in a more creative way, but in a way that will reward us the end of each day. Also, Shakespeare is something that we should read more often because he is very interesting, and his work touches us in a special place called a heart, and some of the people that don't like him, his work have still influenced all of us to have a little creativity before us today.

Shakespeare influenced everyone's vocabulary and ideas on remarkable workings. Such as 'gossip' came from one his novels "A Midsummer Night Dream's" and before I forget he also invented the knock-knock joke in the Scottish play. Furthermore, gone on a 'wild goose chase' came from Romeo and Juliet. Enough with the language. Lets shift to society; as I said before, Shakespeare's plays influenced a lot of genuine artists and authors out there. Such as 1970's song writer Nick Lowe who used the tile' Cruel to Be kind' , which came from the lines in Hamlet and author David Foster Wallace who got the novel title "Infinite Jest" ,also from Hamlet. WIllie gave the world a change in everything without him where would be now. I got all my information from this sole site:

Shakespeare greatly influenced our society and language. We see his influences now through literature and theater and also even movies made of him/his plays. Shakespeare influenced theater which is a big part of society he expanded it’s expectations through characterization, plot, language, and genre. “Shakespeare is the most quoted writer in the history of the English-Speaking world… many of his quotations and neologisms have passed into everyday usage in English and other languages.” Shakespeare influenced the English language by helping standardize the rules of grammar and his Shakespearean words and phrases which contributed to the English language. His great impact to language was his introduction to new vocab and phrases “Shakespeare, in his plays, poems, and other writings, used 29,066 unique words. Most people today only use 7,500 to 10,000 unique words in their writing and speech”, his experiments with blank verse and lastly his introduction to new poetic and grammatical structures. As we can see thanks to Shakespeare’s contributions we have writers still writing like him and we have parts of language influenced by him Shakespeare greatly influenced our society and language which is why he is still known today and why his contributions are still used till this day.

Shakespeare's work is still relevant today because It has such a common theme that can still be applied to many generations. for example, Romeo and Juliet they were teens who was in love who families hated each other and ended letting love take them to the extreme of killing their selves. Still we see this tragic love scenario where someone love someone so much they will die for them. We can only say that Shakespeare's themes were not just for his age but for the many years of generations to come.

We still read Shakespeare because he explains relationships between to humans in so many different forms. It can show you many different ways that human nature works,. We as young readers allow are brain to retain details and explore a more wide range view on all aspects of life.

William influence our society today but giving us new words to use everyday. about 10% if his 20,000 vocabulary words were new to his audience. He even inspired the person who killed Lincoln. The two had worked together for a performance. 5 months later he put on a performance about assassinating the leader of the nation.

He named alot of babies. Some names he came up with is Simpson, Biel , and rabbit. Even the name Jessica first appeared in his works. He helped people undderstand teen angst. People enjoyed the wishful notion of the purity and sensibility of teenage love.It hasnt been changed for years.

Shakespeare introduced nearly 3,000 words into the English language. In addition, Shakespeare's works, which were often quoted, became such commonplace that they helped set the standards for Modern English; prior to Shakespeare, English grammar and spelling had few standards. In addition, many of Shakespeare's expressions (such as "a foregone conclusion") are commonly used today.
The major impact that Shakespeare has had on our society is in the fact that so many people want to read or are required to study him in high school and college. We all have read some type of Shakespeare at some point in time. Although his ork takes places in a long ago time period, most people can strongly relate to it.

Shakespeare and his work are still relevant for multiple reasons.
One reason he is still relevant is because his plays are of timeless themes. Love, friendship, and vengeance are well loved themes that people hold on to even to this day. His plays are also full of “quotable quotes.” His quotes and sayings still impress people to this day. He is actually the most quoted author in the Oxford dictionary.
He also “gave a voice to the marginalized society.” He had female characters in his plays. Of course, they were played by male actors, but he was a forward thinker.

Shakespeare’s language influenced our choice of words and gave us a wider vocabulary and less ignorant words to curse and things like that. He made up his own words for his plays to say what he needed but without the vulgar language people used. Shakespeare influenced literature after him because he had plots that were very filled with drama and rebellion. His work is relavent because he was the one that started a trend of very crazy and different plots and thoughts.I believed that we still use his work because it gives us a glance into the 16th century and how it was

Scholars reinterpret the million words of text. He influenced many writers with his work. People could relate to his quotes in their daily life. He made his readers use their brains while reading. To keep his famous work relevant, writers try to add some of his work with theirs. One of the most famous plays or stories created was Romeo & Juliet. Scholars read this every yea because of the quotes and word play he used. There are many plays, poems, and stories that relate to this play Shakespeare is responsible for over 1,500 of the most common phrases today. Think about it, Shakespeare wrote in the 16th century, and his work is still used today in the 21st century.

Shakespeare introduced over 3,000 words into the English dictionary. They were often quoted by a lot of famous writers and poets which made Shakespeare work become more known throughout the literature community. Shakespeare influenced grammar and contributed to the modern day spelling errors. Shakespeare also influenced worldwide schools because his sonnets and plays are often performed in schools nowadays.
Shakespeare work is still relevant because he has the best work in the 16th Century and everything he wrote was amazing. Shakespeare work also touched timeless themes such as love, friendship and revenge. Shakespeare is still read because his work was well written and authentic.

During his 52 years on earth, he enriched the English language in ways so profound it’s almost impossible to fully specify his impact. Our vocabulary would be completely different if we had not known Shakespeare. Shakespeare came up with modern words such as bedroom and addiction. He gave us uniquely vivid ways in which to express hope and despair, sorrow and rage, love and lust. One point in your life you have quoted Shakespeare or said a part of language that he created without knowing. Shakespeare is almost impossible to avoid.
Shakespeare has influenced society and language by his illumination of human experience, his great stories with compelling characters, and his ability to turn a phrase into a common expression. Shakespeare invented his share of stock of characters, but truly great characters-particularly his tragic heroes- are superior to all others in performance in literature. His great stories like Romeo and Juliet. Common expressions such as “dead as a door nail” used when someone checks to see if the person is a corpse or not.
